V. Sampath Kumar is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities Welfare in the Government of Tamil Nadu. A member of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), he represents the Coimbatore North constituency in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. Before his election in 2026, he was a long-time active functionary of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam and served as the Coimbatore City District Secretary for the TVK.
