Valmir Assunção

Valmir Assunção is a Brazilian politician and farmer who currently serves as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Bahia. A long-time member of the Landless Workers' Movement (MST), he previously served as a state representative in Bahia and as the State Secretary of Social Development and Fight Against Poverty. Throughout his legislative career, he has been a vocal advocate for agrarian reform and social policies, consistently aligning with the Workers' Party on key national issues.
