Vasiliki Kassianidou

Vasiliki Kassianidou is a Cypriot archaeologist and politician serving as the Deputy Minister of Culture since July 2023. Born in London and raised in Nicosia, she studied chemistry and archaeology at Bryn Mawr College and earned her PhD in archaeometallurgy from University College London. Before her appointment to government, she had a distinguished academic career teaching at the University of Cyprus and served on the board of the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO.
