Vasilis Kikilias

Vasilis Kikilias is a Greek politician and former professional basketball player currently serving as the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy. A member of the New Democracy party, he has represented the Athens A constituency in the Hellenic Parliament since 2012. Throughout his political career, he has held several ministerial positions, including Minister for Public Order and Citizen Protection, Minister for Health, and Minister for Tourism. Before entering politics, Kikilias enjoyed a successful athletic career, playing for several prominent Greek basketball clubs and the national team.
