Verónica Escobar Romo

Verónica Escobar Romo is a Mexican lawyer and politician who served as the Mayor of Acapulco in 2012. She assumed the municipal presidency following the departure of Manuel Añorve Baños. Throughout her career, she has been affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party. Her tenure in office was marked by her transition into the role of mayor during a period of administrative change in the municipality of Acapulco.
