Verena Nussbaum

Verena Nussbaum is an Austrian politician and jurist who has served as a member of the Austrian National Council since 2017. Born in Graz, she studied law and began her professional career working for the Union of Private Employees, Printing, Journalism, and Paper (GPA-djp) in 1998. Prior to her parliamentary career, she held significant roles in social administration, including serving as the chairwoman of the board for the Styrian Health Insurance Fund (STGKK) and as a chamber councilor for the Social Democratic Trade Unionists in the Styrian Chamber of Labour. Her political work is closely tied to her background in labor representation and social policy.
