Robert Laimer is an Austrian politician and a member of the National Council representing the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). First elected to the National Council in 2017, he serves as a spokesperson for national defense and chairs the Standing Subcommittee of the National Defense Committee. Before his parliamentary career, Laimer held various roles in local government in St. Pölten and worked for the Lower Austrian Health Insurance Fund.
