Veronica Sims

Veronica Sims is an American politician and non-profit administrator currently serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 33rd district, a position she has held since 2024. Before her appointment to the state legislature, she served as the president of the Summit County Council and as a member of the Akron Public Schools board. Sims holds a Bachelor of Science in political science and criminal justice, as well as a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Akron. Her professional background includes work as a special projects and government affairs administrator for Akron Summit Community Action Inc.
