Veronica Wadley, Baroness Fleet

Veronica Wadley, Baroness Fleet, is a British journalist, arts administrator, and life peer. She served as the editor of the Evening Standard from 2002 to 2009 and later acted as a senior advisor to London Mayor Boris Johnson from 2012 to 2016. A prominent advocate for the arts, she has chaired Arts Council London and the London Music Fund. In 2020, she was nominated for a life peerage and currently serves as a member of the House of Lords, where she continues her work in public service and cultural advocacy.
