Vesna Bedeković

Vesna Bedeković is a Croatian politician and academic who currently serves as a member of the Croatian Parliament. Born in Bjelovar, she holds degrees in pedagogy from the University of Osijek and the University of Zagreb. Before entering national politics, she had a distinguished career in education and administration, serving as a primary school teacher, a department head for Virovitica-Podravina County, and the dean of the High School of Management in Tourism and Informatics in Virovitica. Between 2019 and 2020, she served as the Minister of Demographics, Family, Youth and Social Policy in the cabinet of Andrej Plenković. Her legislative work has focused on gender equality, education, science, and cultural policy.
