Vijay Vasanth

Vijay Vasanth is an Indian politician and actor currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Kanyakumari constituency. He entered active politics in 2021 following the death of his father, H. Vasanthakumar, and was appointed as the General Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee. Beyond his political career, he is a successful entrepreneur serving as the managing director of Vasanth & Co and a former actor in the Tamil film industry. He has been a vocal critic of the BJP, accusing the party of religious division.
