Viliam Zahorčák is a Slovak politician and Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic representing the SMER – Social Democracy party. Born on July 21, 1959, he previously worked as an educator and served as the long-time mayor of Michalovce from 2006 to 2022. He has also been active in regional politics as a member of the Košice Self-Governing Region assembly and was elected to national parliament in the 2020 and 2023 elections.
