Vilis Krištopans

Vilis Krištopans is a Latvian politician who currently serves as a member of the Saeima. He previously held the office of Prime Minister of Latvia from November 1998 to July 1999, during which time he was a member of the Latvian Way party. Before his tenure as Prime Minister, he served as the Minister of Transport. After a period away from politics, he returned to public office in 2002 as a representative of the Union of Greens and Farmers.
