Vincent Van Peteghem is a Belgian politician and economist serving as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Budget in the De Wever government since February 2025. Previously, he served as the Minister of Finance in the De Croo government from 2020 to 2025 and held a seat in the Chamber of Representatives. Before his full-time political career, he worked as a management professor at the EDHEC Business School in France and served as the mayor of De Pinte. He is a member of the Christian Democratic and Flemish (CD&V) party.
