Virgiliu-George Vlăescu is a Romanian politician, bioethicist, and biophysicist who currently serves as a member of the Senate of Romania, representing Suceava County. Elected in 2024 as a candidate for the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), he chairs the Senate Committee for Youth and Sport and serves on the Committee for Education, Science, and Innovation.
