Wade Chang is a Taiwanese-born Canadian politician and lawyer who has served as the Member of Parliament for Burnaby Central since his election in April 2025. A graduate with a law degree from Australia and an MBA from Oxford, Chang is recognized as the first openly gay and Asian member of the Canadian Parliament. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on policy areas including immigration, government accountability, privacy, and ethical governance, serving on several standing committees within the House of Commons.
