Wajiha Akram

Wajiha Akram is a Pakistani politician currently serving as a Minister of State in the federal cabinet. She previously served as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2018 to 2023, having been elected on a reserved seat for women representing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). During her tenure in the National Assembly, she was appointed as the Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Federal Education and Professional Training in 2018. Following a period of political realignment, she joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in October 2023 and assumed her current ministerial role in February 2025.
