Waldemar Oliveira

Waldemar Oliveira is a Brazilian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Pernambuco. Born in Recife, he began his political career in 2018 as a candidate for the Federal Senate. He assumed the state leadership of the Avante party in 2019 and was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2022 with over 141,000 votes. During his tenure, he has served as a committee chair and as a government vice-leader, focusing his legislative work on regional development and public service improvements.
