Wanderlei Barbosa

Wanderlei Barbosa is a Brazilian politician currently serving as the Governor of Tocantins, a position he has held since 2022. Born in Porto Nacional, he began his political career as a councilman in 1989 and later served as a state deputy for Tocantins starting in 2010. He served as the Vice-Governor of the state from 2018 to 2022 before assuming the governorship. Throughout his career, he has maintained a strong focus on regional legislative and executive governance within Tocantins.
