早稲田夕季

Yuki Waseda is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Tokyo in 1958, she graduated from Waseda University and worked at the Export-Import Bank of Japan before entering politics. Her career includes serving as a member of the Kamakura City Council and the Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly. A member of the Center Reform Alliance, Waseda is known for her progressive stances, including support for selective separate surnames for married couples, same-sex marriage, and opposition to constitutional amendments regarding Article 9. She has held various committee roles, including positions in the Health, Labour and Welfare Committee, and has been recognized for her legislative activity.
