Wayne A. Hartman

Wayne A. Hartman is an American politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 38C since 2019. A Republican, he currently serves as the Chief Deputy Minority Whip in the House. Before his election to the state legislature, Hartman served one term on the Ocean City Council, where he focused on local infrastructure and public safety. Throughout his legislative career, he has been a vocal advocate for local control, particularly regarding land use and environmental policy, and has frequently challenged state-level mandates on energy and juvenile justice reform.
