Werner Amon

Werner Amon is an Austrian politician currently serving as the Second President of the Landtag of Styria. A long-standing member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), he previously served as a member of the National Council from 1994 to 2019, as an Ombudsman, and as a provincial councilor in the Styrian state government. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including General Secretary of the ÖVP and chairman of the Young ÖVP. Amon holds an Executive MBA and has extensive experience in education, marketing, and parliamentary committee work.
