Willemijn van Hees

Willemijn van Hees is a Dutch politician and administrator currently serving as the Mayor of Heusden, a position she has held since November 2018. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), she previously served as the Mayor of Geertruidenberg starting in 2012, where she became the youngest female mayor in the Netherlands at the age of 34. Her earlier career included serving as a municipal councilor and alderman in Zundert, as well as working as a translator and business owner in the communications sector.
