Winfried Bausback

Winfried Bausback is a German politician, jurist, and university professor who has served as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since 2008. A member of the Christian Social Union (CSU), he previously held the position of Bavarian State Minister of Justice from 2013 to 2018. Before his full-time political career, Bausback held a chair for public law at the University of Wuppertal. His political work has focused on legal policy, including the modernization of judicial public relations and the establishment of specialized units to combat cybercrime and terrorism.
