Wojciech Konieczny

Wojciech Konieczny is a Polish physician and politician serving as a member of the Senate of Poland since 2019. A graduate of the Medical University of Silesia, he previously worked as a neurologist and served as the director of the Municipal Hospital in Częstochowa. He has been a long-time member of the Polish Socialist Party and has held various leadership roles within the political left. Between 2023 and 2025, he served as a Secretary of State in the Ministry of Health before returning to his full-time duties as a Senator.
