Yi-pei Chou Turvey

Yi-pei Chou Turvey is a Scottish Liberal Democrat politician who has served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the North East Scotland region since 2026. Born in Taiwan and raised in Brussels, she later settled in Aberdeenshire, where she also serves as a member of the Aberdeenshire Council representing the Banchory and Mid-Deeside ward. A member of the Chinese, East & South East Asian Liberal Democrats, she notably took her oath of office in Mandarin, French, and English upon her election to the Scottish Parliament.
