宮澤洋一

Yoichi Miyazawa is a Japanese politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors. A graduate of the University of Tokyo and Harvard University, he previously served as an official in the Ministry of Finance and as a member of the House of Representatives. Throughout his career, he has held significant positions including Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party's Tax System Research Commission. Miyazawa is known for his conservative policy stances, including support for constitutional reform and the maintenance of nuclear power, and he is a prominent member of a well-known political family, being the nephew of former Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa.
