Yolanda Hoogtanders

Yolanda Hoogtanders is a Dutch politician and economist who has served as the Mayor of Roermond since September 20, 2023. Before her mayoral appointment, she was a member of the Amsterdam Municipal Council representing the VVD from 2022 to 2023, where she focused on social affairs, public health, and urban development. Her professional background includes working as an economist at KPMG and serving as the director of the organization consultancy firm Policy Productions. She also held leadership roles in social work and educational oversight organizations prior to entering local government.
