Yorai Lahav-Hertzanu is an Israeli politician currently serving as a member of the Knesset for the Yesh Atid party. Born in Tel Aviv, he holds law degrees from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University. Despite receiving a medical exemption from national service, he volunteered for six years in the Israel Defense Forces. Lahav-Hertzanu previously served as the head of the Yesh Atid youth wing and has been a prominent advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in Israel. He has held his parliamentary seat through multiple election cycles since 2019.
