渡辺芳邦

Yoshikuni Watanabe is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kisarazu, Chiba Prefecture. Born in 1964, he graduated from Nihon University's College of Science and Technology before entering politics. He previously served three terms as a member of the Chiba Prefectural Assembly, where he was active in the Liberal Democratic Party. First elected as mayor in 2014, he has since secured multiple re-elections. During his tenure, he has focused on local economic development and municipal administration, including navigating public concerns regarding international cooperation initiatives such as the JICA Africa Hometown program.
