西村好高

Yoshitaka Nishimura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Nantan City in Kyoto Prefecture. Born in Kobe and raised in Akashi, he worked as a land and house investigator before moving to Nantan in 2008. He served three terms as a member of the Nantan City Council starting in 2014. In March 2026, he was elected as the Mayor of Nantan, assuming office on April 30, 2026. Shortly after his election, he was the target of a criminal intimidation attempt by an individual demanding he decline the mayoral position.
