You Si-kun

You Si-kun is a Taiwanese politician and a founding member of the Democratic Progressive Party. He has served in several high-ranking government roles, including Premier of the Republic of China from 2002 to 2005, chairperson of the Democratic Progressive Party, and President of the Legislative Yuan from 2020 until his resignation in 2024. Known as a strong advocate of Taiwan independence, his political career spans decades of public service in local and national governance.
