大久保潔重

Yukishige Okubo is a Japanese politician and dentist currently serving as the Mayor of Isahaya City in Nagasaki Prefecture. Born in Isahaya, he graduated from Nagasaki University's Faculty of Dentistry and previously practiced as a dentist in Fukuoka. His political career includes serving as a member of the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly and as a member of the House of Councillors. First elected as mayor in 2021, he was re-elected in 2025. Okubo opposes the revision of Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution and the exercise of collective self-defense, while expressing support for the introduction of a selective dual-surname system for married couples.
