笹岡 ゆうこ

Yuko Sasaoka is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, representing the Musashino constituency. Born in 1986, she graduated from Rikkyo University's Faculty of Sociology and previously worked at Sumitomo Corporation. Her political career began with her election to the Musashino City Council in 2015, where she served two terms. Sasaoka is known for her advocacy in environmental protection, particularly in reducing marine waste, and her focus on community-based governance and social welfare for all generations. She assumed her current seat in the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly in July 2025.
