Yulia Svyrydenko is a Ukrainian politician and economist who has served as the Prime Minister of Ukraine since July 2025. Prior to her appointment as head of government, she held several high-level positions, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade starting in 2021, and Deputy Head of the Office of the President. Throughout her career, she has focused on economic policy, sanctions coordination, and business support programs. Svyrydenko is the second woman to serve as Ukraine's Prime Minister since the country's independence in 1991.
