Yury Trutnev

Yury Petrovich Trutnev is a Russian politician currently serving as a Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and the Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, a position he has held since 2013. Previously, he served as the Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment from 2004 to 2012. Earlier in his career, he was elected as the mayor of Perm in 1996 and governor of the Perm Oblast in 2000. Known for his tenure in federal government, he has been subject to international sanctions following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
