Yvan Baker is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for the federal riding of Etobicoke Centre since 2019. Prior to his federal career, he represented the same riding in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 2014 to 2018, where he served as a parliamentary assistant to various ministers. A graduate of York University and Dartmouth College, Baker previously worked as a management consultant and taught at the Schulich School of Business. In the 45th Canadian Parliament, he was elected chair of the Standing Committee on Official Languages.
