Yves Perron

Yves Perron is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Berthier—Maskinongé since his election in 2019. A member of the Bloc Québécois, he has held significant leadership roles within the party, including serving as its national president. Prior to his parliamentary career, he was active in the Quebec independence movement, notably as the regional president of the Parti Québécois for Lanaudière. Since 2021, he has served as the Bloc Québécois critic for agriculture, agri-food, and supply management, and he currently acts as vice chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food.
