Yvonne Bürgin

Yvonne Bürgin is a Swiss politician currently serving as a member of the National Council of Switzerland. A member of The Centre party, she has held various political roles, including serving as the mayor of Rüti since 2022 and previously as a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council, where she served as its president for the 2018/19 term. Before entering national politics, she worked as a textile designer and in administration for a family-owned stone business. In September 2025, she was appointed as the president of The Centre's parliamentary group in the Federal Assembly.
