Zahid Beg

Zahid Beg is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Bhadohi constituency in Uttar Pradesh. A member of the Samajwadi Party, he was first elected to the state assembly in 2012 and returned to office in 2022. Previously, he served as the District President of the Samajwadi Party in Bhadohi. His political career has been marked by his legislative work, including service on the Legislative Library Committee, as well as recent legal challenges involving allegations of labor law violations and a domestic worker's death, for which he was granted bail by the Allahabad High Court in 2025.
