Zahida Manzoor is a British Conservative politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2013. Born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, she moved to England as a child and established a distinguished career in public service, including roles as the Legal Services Ombudsman and Legal Services Complaints Commissioner for England and Wales. She was awarded a CBE in 1998 for her contributions to public life. Throughout her career, she has held senior positions in the NHS and served as the chair of the Financial Ombudsman Service. Originally a Liberal Democrat peer, she joined the Conservative Party in 2016 and briefly served as a Government Whip.
