Zakri Hassan is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Kangar since November 2022. A member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), which is part of the Perikatan Nasional coalition, he represents the Kangar constituency in the Dewan Rakyat. Prior to his entry into national politics, he worked as a school dormitory warden. In 2024, he was a recipient of the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Installation Medal. He has been an advocate for the expansion of religious schools, citing their academic performance compared to secular institutions.
