Ашимжанов, Жанарбек Садыканулы

Zhanarbek Ashimzhanov is a Kazakhstani politician, journalist, and poet currently serving as a member of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. First elected in 2021, he represents the Amanat party. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in media and literature, serving as the editor-in-chief of several national newspapers, including 'Qazaq Adebieti' and 'Ana Tili', and holding leadership roles within the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan. He is a recognized cultural figure and a recipient of the 'Daryn' State Youth Prize.
