Ziad Hawat

Ziad Hawat is a Lebanese politician and Member of Parliament representing the Lebanese Forces since 2018. Before entering national politics, he served as the Mayor of Byblos, where he was recognized for his efforts in urban development, environmental sustainability, and heritage preservation, including the city's inclusion in the Rockefeller Foundation's 100 Resilient Cities program. A business administration graduate from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, he has also maintained a career in the private sector as a chairman of several companies, including Hawat Trading. His political career is marked by a focus on infrastructure modernization and regional development.
