Kamal Shehadi

Kamal Shehadi is a Lebanese economist, telecommunications executive, and politician currently serving as the Minister of Displaced Persons and the first Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence. An academic with degrees from Harvard and Columbia, he previously led Lebanon's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and held senior executive roles at the technology group e&. In his current role, he has launched the LEAP initiative for digital transformation and advocates for state authority, including the disarmament of Hezbollah in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
