A. T. M. Azharul Islam is a Bangladeshi politician and Member of the Jatiya Sangsad representing the Rangpur-2 constituency. A prominent figure within Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, he has previously served as the party's secretary-general and assistant secretary-general. He was arrested in 2012 and convicted of war crimes by the International Crimes Tribunal in 2014, but was subsequently acquitted by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in May 2025 and released from jail.
