Aamer Sarfraz, Baron Sarfraz

Aamer Sarfraz, Baron Sarfraz is a British-Pakistani businessman and politician who has served as a life peer in the House of Lords since 2020. Born in London and raised in Islamabad, he built a professional career in private equity and venture capital before entering politics. As a member of the Conservative Party, he has focused on international trade, science and technology policy, and humanitarian advocacy, including support for religious minorities and IMF reform. In 2025, he was appointed Chancellor of the University of East London.
