Abdu Katuntu

Abdu Katuntu is a Ugandan politician and lawyer currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Bugweri County. A legal professional by training, he previously held various parliamentary leadership roles, including chairperson of the Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises (COSASE) and Shadow Attorney General. Throughout his career, he has been involved in high-profile legislative oversight, including the recovery of significant public funds and the management of COVID-19 task forces. Formerly a member of the Forum for Democratic Change, he joined the National Resistance Movement in 2024.
