Adam Hinojosa is an American politician serving as a member of the Texas State Senate for the 27th district since 2025. After an unsuccessful bid in 2022, he won a 2024 rematch to become the first Republican to represent the Rio Grande Valley district since the Reconstruction era. Before entering politics, Hinojosa worked in his family's business and is an accomplished musician. He currently serves on several committees, including State Affairs and Border Security, and is married with four children.
