Adrian Tam is an American politician serving as a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives for the 22nd district. A second-generation Asian American of Taiwanese ancestry, he graduated from Pennsylvania State University before working in the Hawaii Senate and for his family's real estate business. Elected in 2020, he became the first openly gay member of the Hawaii State Legislature. Tam is a member of the Progressive Legislative Caucus and has served as the Chair of the House Committee on Tourism, where he has focused on legislative oversight and reform of the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
